Silvano Tamburini, born in 1942, was a visionary entrepreneur whose journey in the manufacturing industry began in 1962 with VELODOCIA. Recognized for his exceptional effectiveness, he quickly ascended to a 50% partnership and became renowned as a dynamic leader. In pursuit of his entrepreneurial aspirations, Silvano sold his stake and established SITAM. This brand achieved global leadership in water heaters. In 1990, SITAM was sold to Ariston International which is still in operation. Hence, SITAM was the first manufacturer of enameled water heaters in Europe. Silvano's technical acumen and leadership extended beyond SITAM, when he started consulting globally on greenfield projects, specializing in advanced manufacturing technologies such as electrostatic dry enamel for water heater inner tanks. His notable projects include pioneering setups in Saudi Arabia with Saudi Ceramic and in Russia with THERMEX. He established India's first electrostatic dry enamel manufacturing plant with Venus in 2010. Silvano's legacy is marked by innovation, technical expertise, and a commitment to advancing industrial standards worldwide.
